I’ve been crazily busy lately from school and work. Hence my blog has been left behind with no update. However, my camera haven’t been collecting dust since my job is surrounded by amazing cars most of the time.
This set of photo was taken during my breaks when I got to wonder around the shop, then later transferred to my phone through wifi memory card and processed with iphone filter.
Yes, iphone filter….
So I’m not putting watermark on these or it’s going to look cheesy. Regardless of how the after process was done, thought, the car in this post is no where near being cheesy.
Couple years ago, Vancouver went into a hype of outlining car’s body line with reflective stripe. The Asian drivers gave this style a lovely name – “tron”. And this style could cross boundaries from SUV, to sedan, and of course sports cars. The “tron” does make the car stand out but somehow lack of design since it’s simply “putting tapes along the edges”.
This Mclaren 650S, however, is another story.
The yellow vinyl wrap highlight the body curve to some extent that it works just fine, making the aggressive front look even more “right in the face”. Either it’s a transition from the old “tron”, or a brand new design from the owner, it’s something unique.
The reason it came into our shop? A set of full titanium exhaust explains it all.
Very nice read. Those tron lines fit the car so well, really makes that front pop. But that burnt titanium exhaust looks fantastic. Did it happen to change the exhaust note at all?
