I have this iAcrophobia banner on my windshield ever since I started modding my car. Lots of people have asked me what it stands for. The word should be see separately as “i” and “acrophobia” as in “I am afraid of height”. This is a China based stance culture crew and has been striving to develop a healthy car scene in the country. Under the pressure of the ridiculous government vehicle regulation, they hold event and meet regularly and try to ease off the stereotype of modified cars.

In Christmas Eve, they had a small gather at ACE Cafe.

It wasn’t my first time seeing this crazy bagged beetle – in fact, it has changed quite a lot since then: custom widebody, custom skeleton Airlift controller holder, custom lip, etc.

More than half years ago, while i was in China during 2014 Spring break, the leader of Acer Republic, a sub-crew of iAcro with mostly Audi, called me asking if I wanted to do a photo shoot and hang out with a few crew member.

Bagged Audi & BMW

It was a pleasure meeting the VW Beetle, BMW 330I, Audi A4 B8 and Audi A4 B6. Something I have to highlight is that, they are all bagged! Chinese horrible road condition couldn’t stop their stance life!

Always look forward
